Marsh began in the Philippines as an insurance agency in 1954 through the Philippine Insurance Associates.  The transition to Marsh Philippines, Inc. has evolved in the acquisition of HI - Johnson & Higgins in 1997 as well as Corporate Insurance Brokers, which was then a Marsh & McLennan correspondent.  Eventually, in March of 2000, Marsh acquired All Asia Sedgwick Insurance Brokers, Inc.

The combination of all three respected local operations has transformed Marsh Philippines, Inc. into one of the largest insurance and reinsurance broking and risk consulting firms in the Philippines.

Marsh's presence in the field of insurance and reinsurance broking and risk management consulting in the Philippines has been considerably broadened and strengthened because of these consolidations.
